Camera
Obscura's new
album Desire Lines is due out June 4 (a day before in the UK/EU). It was produced by Tucker Martine (R.E.M., Spoon, My Morning
Jacket) and comes nearly four years after the Scottish band's 4AD Records debut CD My Maudlin Career.
"Working
in the US with southern gentleman Tucker Martine was a positive
experience. He brought a certain calmness to recording that wasn’t there
before. We were also delighted to have Neko Case and Jim James sing on
the record too.
What a treat."
Camera
Obscura have a touring run in North America with She & Him
already announced, a UK tour around the album’s
release and even more shows in
North America.
