Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's 'Déjà Vu' to get deluxe reissue treatment

Rhino will honor last year's 50th Anniversary of
Déjà Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young on May 14 with an expansive 4-CD/1-LP collection that includes a version of the original album on both 180-gram vinyl and CD, plus hours of rare and unreleased studio recordings that provide incredible insight into the making of the record. The previously unreleased demo for “Birds” that was recorded during the sessions is available on all digital download and streaming services. Click HERE to listen now.

Presented in a 12 x 12 hardcover book, the collection comes illustrated with rarely seen photos from the era and was annotated by writer/filmmaker Cameron Crowe, whose liner notes recount the making of the album through stories told by the people who were there, including David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young.

Also on May 14, a deluxe vinyl version will also be available with the full content across 5 LPs of 180-gram vinyl. The deluxe vinyl version is available for pre-order now exclusively at CSNY50.com and Rhino.com. The music will also be available on digital download and streaming services and in high-resolution audio at www.neilyoungarchives.com. Customers that purchase any version of the release at CSNY50.com or Rhino.com will receive a high-resolution download version as well.

A new line of CSNY Déjà Vu-themed, organic merch made from sustainably sourced materials is also available today exclusively at CSNY50.com and Rhino.com.

Crowe recalls in the liner notes that “Déjà Vu caught the zeitgeist perfectly" and “might just be the legendary band’s most accurate portrait of their fiery individualism.” Of this new Deluxe Edition, Crowe opines: “50 years later, with the sonic aperture fully opened, it’s a wide-screen look at the big picture of Déjà Vu, with more music, including a batch of surprises, unseen photos, and a lot more clarity."

On the new anniversary edition, the album’s original 10 tracks are joined by 38 more to add nearly two-and-a-half hours of music that includes demos, outtakes, and alternate takes – most of which are previously unreleased. Among them is “Know You Got To Run,” the first song the quartet recorded during its first session on July 15 at the house Stills was renting from Peter Tork in Studio City.

There is a demo for Crosby’s “Almost Cut My Hair”; Stills’ outtake for “Bluebird Revisited”; and Young’s alternate version of “Helpless” featuring harmonica. Also making its debut on the set is a version of “Our House” that features Nash singing with the song’s inspiration, Joni Mitchell.

Primal Scream and Savages singers collaborate on new album

Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie has teamed up with solo artist and Savages vocalist Jehnny Beth to release the collaborative album Utopian Ashes, due July 2 via Third Man Records.

The album's lead single is "Remember We Were Lovers" with an official video by Douglas Hart (The Horrors, Paul Weller). Listen HERE and watch the video HERE. Vinyl will be available in the U.S. shortly after the album's worldwide release. Pre-orders will be available soon.

Utopian Ashes explores the loss, miscommunication and emotional inarticulacy that a married couple experience as they realize that their relationship is breaking down. The collection draws on the tradition of country soul classics, such as Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris’s "Grievous Angel" and George Jones and Tammy Wynette’s "We Go Together." While it’s not autobiographical, it channels heartfelt truth from the songwriters’ own experiences.

Besides Bobby Gillespie and Jehnny Beth, the album features Johnny Hostile (bass) alongside Primal Scream trio Andrew Innes (guitar), Martin Duffy (piano) and Darrin Mooney (drums).

“In the same way you create characters for a novel, we’ve created characters here,” says Jehnny Beth. “But you put yourself in it, because you’re trying to understand the human situation. The singing has to be authentic. That’s all that matters.”

“When you write a song you marry the personal with the fictional and make art,” adds Gillespie. “I was thinking about two people living alone, together but apart, existing and suffering in a psychic malaise, who plough on because of responsibilities and commitments. It’s about the impermanence of everything — an existential fact that everyone has to face at some point in their lives."

They first met in 2015, when they were both invited to perform with Suicide at the Barbican. The following summer she joined Primal Scream on stage for a duet of Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood’s ‘Some Velvet Morning’, which cemented their connection. In 2017, they convened in Paris for sessions, accompanied by Beth’s musical partner Johnny Hostile and the rest of Primal Scream.

Gillespie explains, ‘I wanted to put pain back into music. I wasn’t hearing a lot of it in modern rock music”.

Track list:

1. Chase It Down
2. English Town
3. Remember We Were Lovers
4. Your Heart Will Aways Be Broken
5. Stones of Silence
6. You Don't Know What Love Is

The long-awaited return of Garbage

Garbage will release their seventh studio album No Gods No Masters on June 11 via Stunvolume/Infectious Music; pre-save/pre-order HERE. The debut single “The Men Who Rule the World” is a
protest song. Its accompanying mixed media video was created by Chilean film director, animator and painter Javi.MiAmor. Both are out now; stream/share HERE.

“This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins,” says the band’s frontwoman Shirley Manson of the album and its twists and turns from capitalism and lust to loss and grief. “It was our way of trying to make sense of how fucking nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It’s the record we felt that we had to make at this time.”

Produced by Garbage and long-time collaborator Billy Bush, the album's beginnings date to summer 2018 in the desert in Palm Springs. The quartet – Manson and bandmates Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig – convened at a home belonging to one of Marker’s relatives and sketched out the skeleton of the album over two weeks, jamming, experimenting and feeling the songs out. They then took those demos and went their separate ways before connecting in Los Angeles to finish the record.

Garbage will unveil a deluxe CD/digital version of No Gods No Masters featuring covers of classic tracks by David Bowie, Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen along with rare Garbage originals. The deluxe version also features new voices, with appearances from Screaming Females, Brody Dalle, Brian Aubert, John Doe and Exene Cervenka. Train marks 'Drops of Jupiter' anniversary with special vinyl, digital releases, plus limited reserve of wine

Train just put out a special edition of its multi-platinum album Drops of Jupiter.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary milestone, the reissue features all 11 original tracks from the 2001 album as well as six bonus tracks of B-sides and rarities.

The 20th Anniversary Edition of Drops of Jupiter is available digitally HERE and, for the first time ever, as a limited-edition pressed on bronze vinyl for sale HERE.

When first released on March 27, 2001, Train’s career-defining album, Drops of Jupiter, debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top 200 and broke the band to multi-platinum status thanks to the double GRAMMY Award-winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40, has been certified 6x platinum in the US, and earned the 2001 GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Song. With sales of more than 2 million copies worldwide in the first year alone and certified 2x platinum in the US and Canada, the album remains the group's best-selling to date.

Train frontman Pat Monahan reflects on making the album:

“Making the album Drops of Jupiter was one of the highlights of my career and I’m sure it’s the same for the others involved. From desperately trying to write songs that matter, to finally landing on a gem and having Chuck Leavell play piano on it and having Paul Buckmaster arrange the strings, it was a whirlwind of tragedy and beauty. The song itself came shortly after the loss of mother and I’m sure that she wrote it with me in a living room in Erie, PA. This album took us around the world many times and opened our eyes and hearts to the world, filling room after arena with love and full voice sing togethers. What a magical time. What a magical record to be a part of. Still in a state of gratitude. Thank you all for making it as special as it is even to this day.”

TRACK LISTING:

1. She's On Fire

Following the special 20th anniversary release of Drops of Jupiter, Train is celebrating 10 years of their award-winning portfolio of California wines, Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co, with the debut of a limited reserve 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. Created in 2011 to bring to life the band's passion for connecting with friends and fans through music and wine, Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. has sold over 10 million bottles and won over 100 medals.

The exclusive, new Cabernet will continue to support Family House, a non-profit organization providing temporary housing to families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses receiving treatment at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital.

Sign up to the allocation list by April 4, 2021 at 11:59pm PT to have the first chance at buying the 2018 Limited Reserve Cab on April 5th before it’s available to the general public. Only 200 cases made! https://www.savemesanfranciscowineco.com/allocation

Of the upcoming launch, Pat says:

“Over 10 years ago, Train partnered with winemaker James Foster to make a great Northern California red wine to support Family House and to give wine lovers a great taste of the Bay Area. Here we are today celebrating 10 years of Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. and also coincidentally 20 years of Drops of Jupiter. Now, after selling 10 million bottles of the many different Save Me, San Francisco varietals, it’s time to go BIG! We’re very excited to announce our first Limited Reserve. It’s a 2018 Cab from Monterey...a big, beautiful ready to drink Cabernet Sauvignon. James and I are so excited about this wine that we thought about keeping it to ourselves but that’s like holding on to a song that should be heard over and over again. There was only enough juice to make 200 cases so they will be gone very quickly. Don’t miss out on this very limited chance to get some of this very limited Cabernet. You can give me a thank you hug as soon as we can all be together again.”

Moby news

Moby's new album Reprise is due out May 28 on Deutsche Grammophon. Reprise sees Moby revisiting and reimagining musical highlights from his 30-year career. Together with the Budapest Art Orchestra, he has re-envisioned some of his most recognizable rave songs and anthems with new arrangements for orchestra and acoustic instruments, joined by guest artists Gregory Porter, Jim James, Kris Kristofferson, Mark Lanegan, Skylar Grey and others.

The first track from the album, “Porcelain,” features Jim James of My Morning Jacket. Stream/download “Porcelain” here, and watch a making-of video on the track here.

Reprise includes Moby’s biggest tracks, including his breakthrough dance track “Go,” “Extreme Ways” (famous from the Bourne movie franchise), “Natural Blues” and “Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?”

Moby explains, “Sorry if this seems self-evident, but for me the main purpose of music is to communicate emotion,” he offers, “to share some aspect of the human condition to whomever might be listening.” Why include an orchestra? "I long for the simplicity and vulnerability you can get with acoustic or classical music,” he explains.

The genesis of Reprise came when Moby was invited to take part in his first-ever classical collaboration – a live concert of his music at Walt Disney Concert Hall with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2018.

Also coming in 2021 is the documentary film, MOBY DOC. Directed and edited by Rob Bralver, the film will be distributed by Greenwich Entertainment and released in US theaters and on digital platforms on May 28, with a worldwide (ex-North America) premiere stream on the same day.

The surrealist biographical documentary is narrated by Moby as he reflects on his turbulent personal life and music, moving from chart-topping solo artist and struggling addict to vegan activist. The film features interviews with David Lynch and David Bowie, along with concert footage, utilizing re-enactments, interviews, and archival footage.

Chase Bryant details his ‘Upbringing' is long-awaited album

Chase Bryant's full-length debut album ‘Upbringing,’ is scheduiled for July 16 via Green Iris Records.

Bryant co-wrote 10 of the album’s 12 tracks, and his guitar skills and multi-instrumental musicianship are prominent. The music was captured live with an all-star band under the guidance of writer/producer Jon Randall (Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley). Embracing the album’s Texas roots, they recorded it over the course of a month at Austin’s famed Arlyn Studios. Backed by drummer J.J. Johnson (Gary Clark, Jr., Tedeschi Trucks Band) and guitarist Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams), Bryant and the band performed much of the material live on the floor.

Born and raised in rural Orange Grove, Bryant grew up dreaming of a life in music, inspired in part by his grandfather, who performed with Roy Orbison and Waylon Jennings, and his uncles, who co-founded the chart-topping band Ricochet. Those dreams came true faster than Bryant could have anticipated, though, and fame and success arrived with a hefty price. By his early 20s, he already had two Top 10 singles and tours with the likes of Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert and Tim McGraw under his belt, but it all felt inauthentic, like he was playing a character with expectations he could never live up to. The harder he pushed back, the worse things got, and soon, Bryant barely recognized the man he saw in the mirror.

Recorded in the aftermath of a season of darkness and despair, ‘Upbringing’ is a portrait of struggle and resilience. The title track, like much of the album, is about coming to terms with who we are and where we’re from, about recognizing that our pain and disappointment and shortcomings are not signs of failure, but proof of our humanity.

“High Drunk And Heartbroke” nods to Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson as it grapples with loneliness and self-medication, while “Think About That” meditates on memory and regret. “Even Now,” features Jessi Alexander on background vocals.

Listen to "Upbringing" and "High, Drunk, and Heartbroke" here.

Track list:

1. Upbringing (Chase Bryant / Stephen Wilson Jr.)
2. Think About That (Chase Bryant / Lance Miller / Brad Warren / Brett Warren)
3. Little Bitty Town (Chase Bryant / Lance Miller / Tim Owens)
4. Even Now ft. Jessi Alexander (Chase Bryant / Joe Haydel / Tim Owens)
5. Somewhere in a Bar (Chase Bryant / Stephen Wilson Jr.)

7. Selfish (Chase Bryant / Cary Barlowe / Will Weatherly)

The Oak Ridge Boys do some 'Front Porch Singin''

Grammy winners and Country Music Hall of Fame members, The Oak Ridge Boys announce a new album, Front Porch Singin’, to be released on June 11. This is their fourth collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer, Dave Cobb.

Recorded during the pandemic, it is preceded by first single, “Love, Light And Healing,'' available to download and stream on all digital services.

“We were sitting in the studio when David Cobb walked in and asked, ‘If you were sitting on the front porch, just singing songs you know, what might you sing?’ Well, we started singing 'The Unclouded Day'...and he said, ‘Let’s go to the microphones.’ That’s how this album was recorded,” says Duane Allen.

"I always love working with The Oaks and with this album, they’ve really captured the warmest feelings of home and family,” adds Dave Cobb.

While preparing this album,
The Oak Ridge Boys chose some of their favorite classics as well as a couple of new ones that offer a familiar feeling to every listener. Front Porch Singin’ draws optimism to both the present and the future while showcasing many of the simple things in life that may have been taken for granted until recently.

“This title has become more of an attitude than anything else,” shares Joe Bonsall. “What if the four of us were sitting on a porch together and someone begins to sing a favorite old gospel song, like Swing Down Chariot, or a country and western standard like Red River Valley, and everyone else just joined in? That is what happened at RCA Studio A. But, as usual under producer Dave Cobb’s leadership, this album turned into so much more.”

“This project is quite honestly one of the most heartfelt albums we have ever recorded,” expresses Bonsall. “It was a bit strange to social distance from each other in the studio, but I believe it drew us all closer and in doing so we may have inadvertently recorded the perfect project for this time period.”

The group—Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden, and Richard Sterban—are best known for their iconic and multi-platinum hit “Elvira,” along with other chart-toppers like “Bobbie Sue,” “Thank God For Kids,” “Y’All Come Back Saloon,” and “American Made.” The Oak Ridge Boys have won five Grammy Awards, multiple CMA and ACM awards for their crossover brand of pop, country, and gospel music that spans multiple generations. The Oak Ridge Boys became members of the Grand Ole Opry in 2011 and were inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame in 2015.

Thomas Rhett news

Thomas Rhett has unveiled details on Part 1 of his fifth studio double album: COUNTRY AGAIN: SIDE A, due April 30 via The Valory Music Co.

Fans can pre-order the album HERE and receive two new tracks, “Want It Again,” and “Growing Up.” “'Country Again: Side A' is everything I wanted to say when I was 19 years old, but hadn’t lived enough to know how to say any of those things yet,” Thomas Rhett said.

"It’s about the crazy journey that took me out into the world over the last ten years and ultimately brought me back home, more centered and content than ever, with a deep understanding for what’s important in life. I’ve had a blast sharing some of these songs in their acoustic form during quarantine and am blown away by the reaction the fans have already shown."

With SIDE B planned for release later this year, COUNTRY AGAIN: SIDE A is co-written by Thomas Rhett and is the result of a return to his initial inspirations as a young songwriter with a new perspective that comes from the challenges of 2020 and life in-between. It’s a musical and thematic return to his roots for Thomas Rhett, an embrace of the sounds, stories, and methods that drew the superstar singer-songwriter to country music, yet required 10 years of life experiences to have the perspective to write them.

Meanwhile, plans have been announcing for “Thomas Rhett One Night Only From Nashville” – a special livestream concert event on the evening of the album’s release, Friday, April 30 at 7:00P CT. Hosted by Veeps, fans from around the globe are invited to experience Thomas Rhett’s first full band performance since 2019 and have a front-row seat to the debut performances of brand new songs, along with fan-favorite chart-topping smashes. Tickets for the concert and VIP packages for the post-show Q&A are on-sale now at thomasrhett.veeps.com.

“It’s been a year and a half since I last played a live show,” Thomas Rhett said. “It’s been good to keep sharing music in all the ways we’ve made work (mostly in front of my plaid curtains), but we really wanted to take it up a few notches until we can safely get back out there on the road. It’ll be where we play some new stuff for the first time and have a chance to share what the songs mean to me!”

Thomas Rhett shares a message to fans about his plans for the special concert HERE.

ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year Thomas Rhett began teasing songs as they were written on social media over the past year. The new album's lead single “What’s Your Country Song” marked Rhett’s 17th career No. 1 single and 11th consecutive No. 1 – the longest active streak in the format.

Veeps is a direct-to-fan experiential platform, custom-built for artists, by artists. Founded in 2017 by Benji and Joel Madden of punk/pop band Good Charlotte. In 2020, Veeps hosted hundreds of live-stream shows that helped artists make millions of dollars in revenue.

Rosanne Cash, Graham Parker, Marshall Crenshaw, Gary Louris of The Jayhawks, others cover John Wesley Harding tunes for Sweet Relief benefit album

Having interviewed Wes Stace a couple times in the past and being a fan of many artists involved in this project, I can't wait to hear it. All for a good cause too! Read below for details...

What started one year ago as an innocent social media game, when Facebook friends and fans suggested artists they would like to cover Wesley Stace a.k.a. John Wesley Harding’s songs, became a reality with the Community Coronation Covers Project, a community-curated playlist featuring myriad well-respected artists.

The tracks have now been gathered on Bandcamp as The Good Lyre: Songs of John Wesley Harding, available Fri., April 2. All proceeds from sales and downloads will benefit Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.

From the hundreds of suggested artist/song pairings, Stace compiled a list: “Realizing that some of these wild ideas were tantalizingly within my grasp, I wondered whether the musicians in question might be willing to help out, to make someone’s day.”

These are “bespoke covers: requested by a single person, and hand delivered, as it were, to that person,” says Stace. “The object was first to blow the mind of whoever made the suggestion ‘You said you wanted to hear Graham Parker sing ‘Devil in Me’? Here you go!!’ and then to blow the minds of any fans of the performing artists whom they never thought they would hear sing this song or perhaps any other of my songs: handmade custom-built quarantainment.”

“The project started purely as a way to lift spirits at the beginning of the lockdown; a way for musicians to cheer people up. Now we’re bringing it full circle: all the proceeds from this album will benefit Sweet Relief, and specifically musicians affected by the COVID pandemic. It’s a beautiful way to mark the end of the project’s journey. I immediately think of John Prine, Adam Schlesinger, Dave Greenfield, Matthew Seligman, Hal Willner and other friends and/or musical influences lost to complications from the virus.

“These performances were acts of great generosity and kindness by these artists — it’s not necessarily an easy thing to work up a new song by request — and I’d like to thank everyone who contributed. Now, in a further act of generosity, all musicians gave an enthusiastic YES to all proceeds being donated to Sweet Relief. There but for fortune go all of us.”

Says Aric Steinberg, EVP Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, “We’re so grateful to Wes and all of the amazing artists that donated their time and talent to this project. The proceeds will be used to help musicians who have been financially devastated by the pandemic; artists helping artists, so cool!”

Track List:

Paula Cole tackled classics on 'American Quilt'

Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Paula Cole has announced her upcoming album American Quilt, due
May 21 via Renew Records / BMG.

“I wanted this album to reflect a patchwork of music from the cities and the mountains, the fields and the rivers,” writes Cole. “From movies, to melodies that traversed oceans, centuries, cultures, and continents – sewn together with our collective heartstrings.”

Listen: Paula Cole - “Wayfaring Stranger” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7z-PADvjY8

An 18th-century mountain ballad, “Wayfaring Stranger,” came to Cole via Emmylou Harris, whose own version of the song appeared on 1980’s Roses in the Snow, and was “a profound influence” on Cole.

“It’s a nod to Emmylou because I love her so dearly and she’s so important in my life,” says Cole. Featuring recent Berklee grad Kathleen Parks on fiddle and Ross Gallagher on upright bass, “Wayfaring Stranger” is “a song of hope for world-weary travelers who endure suffering and heartache and fantasize about the great beyond over Jordan and reuniting with loved ones.”

On American Quilt, Cole applies a natural insight to American history and musical roots traditions by interpreting a selection of classic songs – each of which provide an entry point for rediscovering the overlooked stories and figures that populate America’s interwoven cultural lineage.

The album was produced by Cole, who was the first woman nominated (without collaborators) as Producer of the Year at the 1997 Grammy awards. She garnered a total of seven Grammy nominations that year and won “Best New Artist” for her second album and major-label debut, This Fire, with its timeless hits, “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “I Don’t Want to Wait” (later the theme song for hit TV series Dawson’s Creek).

Today, as a visiting scholar at Berklee College of Music, Cole tells “all my female students, ‘Start thinking like a producer, think about how you want the whole track to sound, be a voice.’”

“Together these songs make an American Quilt,” says Cole, “a patchwork of heritage, a stitched-together-history of culture both painful and beautiful. I hope the listener will step inside the canoe and float down the Missouri River of their mind. I hope they will hear the gospel of the country, and taste the liquor in the speakeasies. I hope they will feel the freedom in the jazz of the cities, heed the call to morality in the spirituality of a day’s hard work, and the call to the Great Beyond from the Appalachians.”

As on previous albums, Cole was joined by a longtime “family” of musicians, including esteemed drummer Jay Bellerose and guitarist Kevin Barry, collaborators since the trio’s days at Berklee. American Quilt follows 2019’s acclaimed album of originals, Revolution.

2. Wayfaring Stranger

Ashley Monroe's new album due next month

Grammy nominated Nashville singer Ashley Monroe released the official video for "'Til It Breaks," the second song to be released from her forthcoming fifth studio album Rosegold.

It will be released on April 30 via Mountainrose Sparrow/Thirty Tigers and is now available for pre-order.

"'Til It Breaks" was co-written by Monroe, Ashley Ray and Ben West, who also produced the song. Watch the official video for "'Til It Breaks" via YouTube: https://youtu.be/ckTcQUQst50

"Ashley Ray and Ben West are two of my favorite humans and writers on planet Earth. I had the 'let it melt away' melody and lyric going, but I wasn’t sure how it was going to be written yet," explains Monroe. "This was right before the pandemic days, so I didn’t know how true and deep these words would hit me now. I forgot who said the hook line, but it slayed us all as soon as it was spoken. It’s one of those titles I can’t believe we got to write. I also had a dear friend of mine on my mind during that time who was going through a dark season. Now when I listen, I am singing this message to myself too."

Written and recorded over the past two years, Rosegold finds Monroe layering vocal harmonies atop synthesized soundscapes and beats. Rather than make demos of songs that appear on Rosegold, Monroe tracked and co-produced the album a-song-at-a-time, bringing ideas into writing sessions and inviting her collaborators — Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Lady A), Mikey Reaves (Maren Morris, Needtobreathe), Jake Mitchell (Ashley McBryde, Luke Bryan), Jordan Reynolds (Maddie & Tae, Dan + Shay), Ben West (Maddie & Tae, Lady A), and longtime producer/co-writer Tyler Cain (who co-wrote “Has Anybody Ever Told You” with Ashley) — to help build and produce full tracks in the studio.

"I’ve always been good at writing sad songs because I’ve experienced a lot of sadness in my life," Monroe reflects. "When my son was born, though, it was like some sort of innocence got plugged back into my heart. I’d never really felt that kind of joy before, and I wanted to find a way to make it last. I told everyone I was working with that I didn’t want even a hint of sadness this time around. I wanted to embrace all the light and love in my life and find ways to share it with people."

Track list:

1) Siren
2) Silk
3) Gold
4) See
5) Drive
6) Flying
7) Groove
8) ‘Til It Breaks
9) I Mean It
10) The New Me

Lord Huron gets 'Long Lost' in May

Lord Huron have announced their fourth full-length album, LONG LOST, out May 21 via Whispering Pines Studios Inc./Republic Records featuring new single “MINE FOREVER.”

Pre-order Long Lost HERE, listen to “Mine Forever” HERE, and watch the official music video for “Mine Forever” (Directed by Anthony Wilson) HERE.

Various hints and previews on the album have been revealed during Lord Huron’s Alive from Whispering Pines series.

During its first episode, viewers were introduced to Mr. Tubbs Tarbell, fell under the spell of commercials that may very well be lost tapes from the past, and were treated to performances by Lord Huron. The band played some old songs including “Meet Me In The Woods” (view video here) and provided a sneak peek at some new songs. The episode also featured a hotline where fans could call in and ask Mr. Tarbell questions and request songs from the band.

Episode 2 included additional clues, more performances from Lord Huron (including “The World Ender” and “Frozen Pines”) and even the secret world premiere of “Mine Forever.” Last night on Alive From Whispering Pines, Lord Huron performed their triple-platinum single “The Night We Met” as well as fan favorites “Ghost on The Shore” and “Never Ever.”

To help answer all these lingering questions, Tubbs has put out an official letter into the multi-verse from Whispering Pines Studios describing the mythical tale of recording Long Lost with Lord Huron and the origins of its cosmic music. Read the full letter HERE and below.

Long Lost will include previously released track "Not Dead Yet." The single has already racked up 1.5 million Spotify streams and 500K video views. Additionally, the guys hit the stage at Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! for a television debut performance of “Not Dead Yet.” Watch it HERE.

The last episode of Alive From Whispering Pines will broadcast in April, with more surprises to come. Fans can purchase tickets to each episode, a season pass to all four shows, and exclusive merch at http://www.lordhuron.com.

Lord Huron first made a name for themselves with their debut album Lonesome Dreams and shortly after Strange Tales, which featured the triple-platinum single “The Night We Met.” In 2018, Lord Huron earned widespread critical acclaim with their first Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 2—with their third album, Vide Noir. It featured singles such as “Wait by the River” (which the band performed on “Late Night with Seth Meyers”) and “When the Night is Over” - generating tens of millions of streams.

The band’s extensive touring includes headline shows at some of the most storied venues in the country (including the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks, and the Ryman Auditorium) and prime slots at festivals ranging from Coachella to Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo.
