The first single from album Save Rock and Roll (due April 16), “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)," is currently top #10 on the iTunes Singles Chart and is already RIAA certified gold. Elton John, Courtney Love and Big Sean collaborated on the album.
Also, the band unveiled the video for “The Phoenix,” which serves as the prequel to the “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” video which stars 2 Chainz as the lead. The band notes, “It tells the tale of how we ended up blindfolded in the back of the black van in the MSKWYDITD video. This is chapter 2 of 11. Stay tuned for chapter 3...”
The band gear up for the week of release with a performances on Good Morning America (April 16) and Conan (April 17).
Save Rock and Roll is Fall Out Boy’s fifth studio release and first since Folie Á Deux in 2008.
