New documentary on Slash coming next month

With this week's announcement about much of the original lineup of
Guns 'N Roses reuniting to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this spring, I'm sure many of the band's fans will be interested in this...

Slash, best known as lead guitarist for GNR, Velvet Revolver and Snakepit, gets profiled during Slash: Raised on the Sunset Strip. The documentary feature film from DirecTV and Guitar Center was directed by Marytn Atkins.

Making its Blu-ray and DVD debut on Feb. 5 from Shout! Factory, Slash: Raised on the Sunset Strip features interviews from Dave Grohl, Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, Duff McKagan, Lemmy Kilmister and Nikki Sixx. The film combines new and archival footage with personal anecdotes from Slash, as well as many of his influences and colleagues.
