I was impressed when I caught Cam live for the first time this past summer in Irvine, when she opened for Lady A (see review elsewhere on this blog). So I'm looking forward to hearing her album...
Cam is among the presenters for the 49th Annual CMA Awards, airing live this Wednesday on ABC.
The rising Arista Nashville/RCA Records singer/songwriter will release her full-length major-label debut album, Untamed on Dec. 11. The tracks feature 11 songs co-written by Cam including current single, the RIAA Gold-certified, “Burning House.”
Untamed was produced by Grammy winner Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, fun.) and Tyler Johnson who also appear as co-writers on selected tracks. It is now available for pre-order on Amazon (http://smarturl.it/amzuntamed).

This week, “Burning House” continues its chart climb, advancing to #11 on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country airplay charts.
In less than three weeks from its debut, Cam’s music video for “Burning House” has now surpassed 1.25 million views. Directed by ACM and CMA Award winner, Trey Fanjoy, fans can see it at http://smarturl.it/CamBHmusicvideo.
As previously announced, fans can also be watching for Cam this week as she co-hosts the AT&T CMA Awards Red Carpet show alongside Craig Morgan and Michael Ray. The show will air live Nov. 4 on AUDIENCE® Network (DIRECTV Ch. 239 or U-verse TV Ch. 1114) beginning at 7 PM/ET to all DIRECTV and AT&T U-verse® TV customers, with live streaming beginning 6 PM/ET at http://www.att.com/cmaredcarpet/.
