Ben Harper will kick off a fall acoustic tour in his hometown of Claremont, CA in November, including a debut performance at LA's Disney Hall. This outing follows a recent acoustic headline tour.
The Grammy-winning artist is having one of the best years of his career. Get Up! debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart and has spent 24 of the last 28 weeks in the Top 10.
On the new album, he teamed with legendary harmonica master Charlie Musselwhite to create a 10-track song-cycle released by Stax Records/Concord Music Group. A mix of blues, gospel, roots and R&B, the album was entirely written or co-written by Harper, with Musselwhite's counterpoint harmonica accentuating Harper's vocals.
