Out now: Bastille's 'Doom Days'

Bastille’s new album, Doom Days, was released today by Virgin Records and is now available everywhere. It includes the new single, “Joy,” as well as “Quarter Past Midnight,” which topped the Mediabase Alternative chart. The band members chat about the concept and making of the album in this new clip.

On June 21, Bastille will perform in Central Park as part of ABC’s “Good Morning America” Summer Concert series. Tickets are on sale now for the GRAMMY®-nominated, Brit-winning band’s fall North American tour. Online ticket order purchased for most of the U.S. dates on the fall tour will include a CD of the new album. See below for itinerary.

In the days leading up to the release of Doom Days, Bastille threw open the doors to its virtual reality house party. At the Doom Days house, fans can explore the many rooms and unlock memories to piece together the events of an unforgettable night. Amazon gave fans a preview of the album with “Doom Nights,” an exclusive pre-album listening experience with 11 narrative clips – one for each song on the album. An edition of the album that features these clips interwoven throughout the release is now available exclusively on Amazon.

The official video for “Joy,” which can be seen HERE, features real CCTV footage embellished by directors Brain Wash and offers a humorous look at the things people do when they think no one’s watching. Last week, the band released the video for another track off the album, “Those Nights.”
