Brian Wilson extends 'Pet Sounds' tour

Over the summer, I finally caught Brian Wilson and his excellent band performing Pet Sounds live for the first time (see review elsewhere on this blog) at the Hollywood Bowl. Now Wilson, alongside fellow Beach Boys' alums Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, will return next year with a final batch of shows.

“There are so many cities on this great tour that myself, my band, Al and Blondie just couldn’t get to playing,” Wilson said, in a statement. “We’re performing more shows than ever before and the fans keep asking for more! It’s been a real trip so far and I’m happy that we’ll have the chance to reach so many people that weren’t able to catch our shows this year.”

Head to for info on pre-sales and general on sales Friday.
