Jonathan Jackson of TV's "Nashville" and his band to play South, Midwest

Jonathan Jackson + Enation announced a tour celebrating the release of their fourth studio album Radio Cinematic which came last October through Loud & Proud Records.

Initial tour dates will begin in May and tickets are on sale now through the band’s website HERE. VIP packages will also be available through each of the venue websites.

“It will be the biggest tour we have ever done,” singer/songwriter/guitarist Jackson says. “The response to 'Radio Cinematic' and in particular our song ‘Cinematic’ has been tremendous so while I am on my summer break from filming my TV show [ABC drama "Nashville"] we are looking forward to getting out on the road to play the record for everyone. What better way to express these songs than in a live environment with the visceral energy of the crowd with us.”

The band is also getting ready to release their second single, the swelling, emotional anthem “Cinematic” - a tug of war between simmering piano and Jonathan’s soaring falsettos that blends electronic drum loops and orchestration.

Their previous single, the guitar driven anthem “Everything Is Possible,” introduced the alt-rock band to a national audience with live performances on ABC's "The View" and VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live (watch it HERE) as well as playing at sold out radio shows across the country and performing alongside artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Echosmith, Andy Grammer, American Authors and Matt Nathanson.

Jonathan Jackson + Enation recorded Radio Cinematic with co-producer Greg Archilla (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) and Patrick Dillett (David Byrne, The National). The idea behind Radio Cinematic, Jonathan explains as “the interconnection between sight and sound, the visual and auditory experiences that move us and shape our lives.”

In addition to playing several tour dates across the country this spring and summer, Jonathan Jackson + Enation will alsoplay a special acoustic set on Record Store Day, April 18 at Grimey’s in Nashville.

Jonathan Jackson + Enation is Jonathan Jackson (vocals, guitar), Richard Lee Jackson (drums) and Daniel Sweatt (bass).
