Filter ponders 'The Algorithm' later this month; on tour

Filter are set to release their new album, 'The Algorithm', on Aug. 25 via Golden Robot Records. It was produced by p
roduced by leader Richard Patrick and Brian Virtue (Jane’s Addiction, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Audioslave).

The singles released so far include “For The Beaten,” “Face Down,” and “Obliteration.”

Patrick says of the studio release: "It’s been seven years between albums for Filter and during that time we had to deal with a pandemic. I juggled several film scores and other projects, but I can safely say I am really very proud of ‘The Algorithm.' The amount of time I had to make this record gave me the opportunity to work with super talented new people, some of my former bandmates, and even allowed me to explore ideas that have been floating around my own head since ‘Crazy Eyes.’ This record is the best record Filter has made in many years.”

The alt-rock band - best known for the hits "Hey Man Nice Shot" and "Take a Picture" - head out this month playing select shows and are special guests on the Freaks On Parade tour with Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper and Ministry. The world tour continues into 2024 with headline dates in the UK/EU in March 2024. All dates are below.
