The NAMM Show '18 news: Taylor Guitars stage performance schedule

Taylor Guitars has released its artist lineup set to perform on the Taylor Stage at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.

This year’s showcase brings exciting new acts including rising international singer songwriters, sensational bluegrass stylings, popular US acoustic acts and more.

Leading off the show performances on Thursday, January 24 will be three incredible Japanese singer songwriters - Ai Fujimori, CJ Li, Natsumi Miki. Fujimori is a passionate acoustic performer with a devoted following in Japan. Li hails as a Canadian pop singer songwriter with over 1 million views on YouTube and has performed in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics while Miki boasts a unique playing style and loyal fanbase. Fujimori, Li and Miki all participated in Taylor Guitars “IZU Sessions” video series in Japan in collaboration with Yamano which can be found on the Taylor Guitars YouTube Channel.

Thursday will be rounded out by the sensational bluegrass band, Barefoot Movement by way of Nashville, TN. Winner of the 2014 IMBA Momentum Band Of The Year Award, Barefoot Movement is known for delivering a heartfelt, energetic and down home style that will put a punctuation mark on the inaugural day of 2018 Winter NAMM Show.

Friday, January 25 NAMM goers will be treated to the California country band - Sour Blossom. Based in Los Angeles, members Sean Verchick, Josiah Rosen and Carly Simmons draw inspiration from legendary California artists such as The Eagles, Neil Young and Carole King.

YouTube sensation and San Diego native, Elise Trouw will then dazzle the crowd with her muti-instrumental abilities using loop technology to create an impressive, full band sound from just one person. Trouw’s videos receive millions of views, like her mashup “Everlong” by Foo Fighters and “What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell.

Closing out Friday will be a joint performance from singer songwriters Will Champlin and Kurt Hugo. Will Champlin is best known for his appearance on NBC’s The Voice while Kurt Hugo is a multi-talented musical YouTube star with nearly 10 million subscribers.

The final day of Taylor Stage performances, Saturday will be kicked off by the 15 year old country music sensation and California native, Brennley Brown. Brennley also appeared on Season 12 of The Voice.

Another The Voice alum and Nashville native, musical artist Nolan Neal will perform next offering up his soulful acoustic act.

Saturday’s performances will end with - Miyavi - a talented Japanese musician, actor and philanthropist with a unique percussive guitar style. He was appointed as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador in November 2017 and is also known for his lauded acting performance in Unbroken in 2014.
