Olly Murs' next album due in March

British singer/songwriter Olly Murs’ sophomore U.S. album, Never Been Better, is set for release on March 10 via Columbia Records and is available for pre-order.

Fans will receive a download for “Wrapped Up,” the funk-infused first single which features Gym Class Heroes front-man Travie McCoy, instantly upon pre-order.

They will collect additional tracks on a bi-weekly basis leading up to the album’s official release, including the beautiful pop-folk ballad “Up” ft. Demi Lovato, the bold title track “Never Been Better” (iTunes pre-orders only), and the ballad “Beautiful To Me.” See full track list below.

Olly will make the U.S. television debut of “Wrapped Up,” currently a Top 3 single in the UK with #2 airplay, on NBC’s TODAY Show on Jan. 15.

Never Been Better features guest appearances including a writing pair-up with Paul Weller (formerly of The Jam and Style Council), Demi Lovato on the song “Up” and Ryan Tedder on “Seasons,” among others. The album is in the Top 5 on iTunes album chart in 16 countries, the Top 10 in 31 countries and serves as Murs’ 3rd consecutive UK #1 album. The U.S. iTunes deluxe version will also include 3 additional exclusive songs.

Never Been Better is the follow-up to his acclaimed 2013 U.S. Columbia Records debut effort, Right Place Right Time, and its accompanying hit “Troublemaker” featuring U.S. hip hop star Flo Rida. That album is now quadruple platinum in the UK and the song went on to become a platinum-plus smash, selling more than 1.5 million units, winning over American music fans as Murs’ highest charting U.S. single to date. The album also cracked Billboard’s Top 20 Best Selling Albums Chart, with the prolific Murs already over the 10 million milestone in total career record sales.

“I definitely have a vision in my head,” says Olly. “Your experience grows, your outlook changes. I love to work with other people, to get the ideas bouncing around.” Most of the songs on Never Been Better were co-written by Murs, whose personal goal was to approach every track at the top of his game. “I think this album is my ‘I mean it’ album. It’s time to come out of my shell and get a bit more serious.”
