The xx update

The xx have released a new video for “Say Something Loving.” Filmed in the band’s hometown of London, the video was directed by renowned photographer and filmmaker Alasdair McLellan, who also directed the video for previous single “On Hold” (which was shot in Marfa, Texas). “Say Something Loving” is taken from The xx’s hugely acclaimed third album I See You, which debuted at #1 in the UK and #2 in the U.S. album charts on release in January.

Of the video, The xx say, “We wanted to celebrate our home town and revisit some of the places that reminds us of our friendship when we were growing up. We're so happy to be back home and so excited to begin our Night + Day residency in Brixton this week!”
