The band James returns to North America for rare tour with Psych Furs this summer

Having interviewed the singers for both acts in the '90s and a fan since the '80s, this tour is a must-see for me...

Longtime UK bands The Psychedelic Furs and James announce a North American co-headlining tour this summer. Starting in July in Toronto, the tour runs across North America into August .

James’ lead singer Tim Booth comments “We are so happy to be returning to the USA and honored to be co-headlining with 'The Psychedelic Furs' - a band we have loved since day one. To achieve maximum pleasure from our show please give a listen to our new CD 'Living in Extraordinary Times”. We improvise and change our set on a nightly basis so expect the unexpected.”

Richard Butler, the Psychedelic Furs vocalist comments “We are excited to be back on tour this summer and are especially pleased to be joined by James, a personal favourite of mine, who have had my attention from the beginning. And…we may be playing some new Furs songs. We hope to see you along the way.”

The Psychedelic Furs touring lineup remains Richard Butler (vocals), Tim Butler (bass), Rich Good (guitar), Mars Williams (saxophone), Amanda Kramer (keyboards), and Paul Garisto (drums).

The tour marks the first time James has toured live in North America since their sold out 2012 mini-tour and follows the release of their critically acclaimed 15th studio album ‘Living In Extraordinary Times’ [Listen HERE], released via Infectious/BMG in 2018.
"Coming Home (Pt. 2)" features keyboards from long-time collaborator Brian Eno. See the video to "Many Faces": https://youtu.be/ZJtRmGLNJa4

James are Tim Booth (vocals), Jim Glennie (bass), Saul Davies (guitar/percussion/violin), Mark Hunter (keys), David Baynton-Power (drums), Andy Diagram (trumpet) & Adrian Oxaal (guitar)
