Alanis Morissette just started the first North American
tour in support of her new studio album, Havoc and Bright Lights, out tomorrow via Collective Sounds/Sony RED).
Of the album - produced by Joe
Chiccarelli and Guy Sigsworth - and tour, she said:
"The songs from the last 17 years are blending
together like great friends. Thankfully, there is a timelessness in their
content and passion, for me! The show covers the gamut of every chord choice
and every emotion I have ever felt. I am spent afterwards, happily so. I am
thrilled to be able to play and tour with my family, blending my personal and
artistic fulfillment into one sweaty, feisty, expressed, communal traveling
circus!" says Morissette. "I look forward to connecting with everyone
face to face, as well as through the many social networks of this exciting new
climate."
