Featuring his breakthrough top 40 pop hit, "Someday, Someway,” the album has newly remastered audio by engineer Greg Calibi and liner notes by Crenshaw. The digital format features newly remastered audio (the double LP version of the album, released last fall on Record Store Day Black Friday, is sold-out). Marshall Crenshaw is available for pre-order today.
Hailed as one of the 100 best albums of the ‘80s by Rolling Stone, Marshall Crenshaw was recorded at The Record Plant in New York City, co-produced by Richard Gotterher (Blondie, the Go-Go's) and Marshall Crenshaw with engineers Thom Panunzio and Jim Ball. Following its release in April 1982 on Warner Bros. Records, Marshall Crenshaw spent six months on the Billboard chart, peaking at No. 50.
