Howard Jones acoustic tour and album news

New wave icon/synth pioneer Howard Jones is set to return to the United States for rescheduled dates with his Acoustic Trio next month. Originally set for January, February and March, 2020, the intimate stripped-down shows are a trip through Howard's 30-year music career.

Featuring Howard on electric piano, Robin Boult (Roger Daltrey, Dave Stewart, Fish) on acoustic guitar and Nick Beggs (Kajagoogoo, Belinda Carlisle, John Paul Jones) on chapman stick, these shows deliver a fresh take on Howard’s best-known hits. They also provide the opportunity for the audience to hear first-hand about the inspiration behind Howard’s beloved material as well as stories from his touring career. Please see below for tour dates.

In conjunction with the upcoming Acoustic Trio tour dates, Jones will soon release a live album of a very unique Trio performance from his native UK; LIVE AT UNION CHAPEL is due out this Spring (exact release date to be announced). The album was recorded at a special venue, Union Chapel, in Islington, London on January 10th, 2021.

Built in 1877, Union Chapel is not only a live performance venue, but also a working church and a charity drop-off center. Click here to access a video clip of the track “Hide & Seek” taken from the show. LIVE AT UNION CHAPEL is recorded by Rob Roberts, mastered by Jason Mitchell at LOUD Mastering Taunton and mixed by Jones himself. Please see below for the album’s track listing.
