Thompson Twins set November for 40th anniversary edition of 'Into the Gap'

I reviewed Tom Bailey's Thompson Twins in concert recently with Thomas Dolby (see elsewhere on this blog). I'm really looking forward to this...

‘Into The Gap,’ the fourth album by Thompson Twins, was initially released in 1984. A multi-platinum album on both sides of the Atlantic, it stayed at #1 in the UK for three weeks and was top 10 in the US. The album produced four hit singles: ‘Hold Me Now’, a top 5 smash in the UK and the US, as well as ‘Doctor Doctor’, ‘You Take Me Up’, and ‘Sister Of Mercy’.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of ‘Into The Gap’, the album has been remastered at Abbey Road by Frank Arkwright and will be reissued as a 3CD set on Nov. 8. Pre-order HERE

The new expanded collection features new sleeve notes with interviews with all three original band members, a limited-edition red vinyl LP, a digital deluxe version and Dolby Atmos digital and Blu-ray exclusive to superdeluxeedition.com. David Kosten mixed the Dolby Atmos version.

The LP format and Dolby Atmos versions of ‘Into The Gap’ are the classic 9-track album.
