Nada Surf update

Nada Surf's new album NEVER NOT TOGETHER arrives on Barsuk on February 7. It’s the band’s ninth studio recording -- their first in almost four years -- and is prefaced by the single, “Something I Should Do,” which is accompanied by a video and is available for streaming and download. The New York City-based band – Matthew Caws, Daniel Lorca, Ira Elliot, and their longtime friend and collaborator, Louie Lino – recorded earlier this year at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire, Wales.

Founded in 1992, Nada Surf marked the 15th anniversary of their Barsuk Records label debut album, LET GO last year. In addition, they recently marked the 20th anniversary of 1999’s NORTH 6TH STREET, a long-unavailable collection of early demos recorded upon the band’s initial formation, by making it available on digital services for the first time. NEVER NOT TOGETHER follows 2016’s acclaimed eighth studio recording, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, and live album, PEACEFUL GHOSTS.
