Stagecoach Country Music Festival news

AXS TV has unveiled a first look at the artist lineup for the network’s broadcast of the 10th Annual Stagecoach Country Music Festival, on April 24-26.

The festival will air each evening, starting at 9p Eastern/6p Pacific.

This is the third consecutive year that AXS TV will broadcast the event, presenting 21 hours of coverage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA. Additional artists will be added to AXS TV’s broadcast schedule closer to the show.

Over the last decade, Stagecoach has firmly established itself as California’s premier country music festival, delivering a one-of-a-kind experience spanning decades of well-known classics and modern hits.

AXS TV is giving viewers a front row seat to the action with seven hours of coverage kicking off on April 24, with Jake Owen (“Barefoot Blue Jean Night”) and Kip Moore (“Beer Money”); Western swing ensemble The Time Jumpers, featuring Vince Gill and Kenny Sears (“So Far Apart”); family four-piece Parmalee (“Carolina”); indie sensation Sturgill Simpson (“Just Let Go”); and Brooklyn outfit The Lone Bellow (“Then Came The Morning”).

On April 25, tune in for Dierks Bentley (“Drunk On A Plane,” “I Hold On”); Nashville sensation Justin Moore (“Small Town USA”); ZZ Top (“Sharp Dressed Man,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’”); and Eli Young Band (“Even If It Breaks Your Heart”).

The channel closes out the weekend on April 26, with The Band Perry (“If I Die Young,” “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely”); Sara Evans (“A Little Bit Stronger,” “Born to Fly”); George Thorogood & the Destroyers (“Bad To The Bone”); The Outlaws (“Green Grass & Tides”) and chart-topping newcomers Maddie & Tae (“Girl In A Country Song”).

In conjunction with AXS TV’s season of music festivals—opening with the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on Friday, April 17—Stagecoach viewers will be able to access special festival-specific content on an all-new interactive microsite via www.axs.tv/festival/Stagecoach.

Using a broadcast alert center, social media updates, in-depth blog posts, minute-by-minute broadcast lineups, and a social interaction page, viewers will be able to stay updated on breaking news from all of their favorite acts, ensuring they won’t miss a second of their most anticipated performances.

Starting Wednesday, April 1, viewers will be able mark the days with an on-air countdown clock, leading up to the season kickoff at Coachella on Friday, April 17.

Additionally, viewers can brush up on their festival trivia with in-depth blogs presenting facts and information about past festivals and performing artists. These posts will also feature history covering how these festivals started, and provide useful tourist tidbits highlighting things to do when in town for each festival.

Viewers will be invited to share their thoughts and opinions on the microsite’s social interaction page (powered by Wayin), aggregating tweets from fans and artists during each event, using #AXSCoachella, #AXSStagecoach, #AXSJazzFest, #HomeOnTheRange, and #AXSFirefly. This section will also detail what's trending at that moment, and contain interactive polls that viewers can start participating in during the microsite’s launch.
