In 2009, Bingham wrote and performed the theme song
“The Weary Kind” for the acclaimed film Crazy Heart starring Jeff
Bridges. The track was produced by Grammy-winning producer T Bone
Burnett and earned Bingham all those awards.
Critically acclaimed third studio album
“Junky Star” came out on Lost Highway Records in 2010. The album, Bingham’s highest
charting and most successful release to date, debuted in the Top 10 on
the Billboard Rock Album Chart and Top 20 on the Billboard 200.
