Duran Duran summer tour and live DVD announced

Duran Duran will be returning to North America for their summer tour in support of their latest album ALL YOU NEED IS NOW. Original members Simon, John, Roger and Nick are joined by Dom Brown on guitar for the last time Stateside before they begin writing and recording their next studio album. In celebration of the success of the ‘All You Need Is Now World Tour,’ Duran Duran will release a live DVD, CD and Blu-ray - “A Diamond In The Mind” (Eagle Rock) in July 2012. The performance was filmed and recorded in the MEN Arena in Manchester, England on the band’s 11 date UK arena run in December 2011. The Deluxe edition will include all three formats (the DVD, CD, and Blu-ray discs), plus a 20 page booklet and bonus features. 

 

One of the most celebrated albums of the band’s storied three-decade career, the nine-track digital-only version of ALL YOU NEED IS NOW hit #1 on the iTunes Albums Charts in 15 countries before the release of the 14-track LP earlier last year.

Around the release of ALL YOU NEED IS NOW, produced by Mark Ronson, Duran Duran –garnered some of the best reviews they’ve ever had.
