One of my favorite country acts returns. Read the official spiel here...
Dierks Bentley prepares for the release of sixth studio album Home with fan events, television appearances and exclusive album release shows in support of the disc, due out on Tuesday.
A performance on NBC’s Today on Feb. 6-7 and Letterman on Feb. 8, will be followed by a TV taping with a full set for their popular webcast program, Live on Letterman. Then it's on to the Grammy Awards on Feb. 12 and Ellen on Feb. 15.
"We worked so hard and spent so much time writing and recording this album," said Bentley. "Now we get to criss cross the country and get it in the fans' hands…I'm sure I'll be running on adrenaline the entire time. I've got a few surprises planned along the way too."
Bentley's new disc has already produced the No. 1 country hit “Am I The Only One." He penned the good-time tune, as well as the title track "Home," which caught early attention from National Public Radio critics for the authenticity of its lyrics.
It is nominated for ACM's "Song of the Year" award. The new project also features Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild and bluegrass icons Sam Bush and Tim O'Brien.
Following release week, Bentley will start the first official show of his Country & Cold Cans Tour on Feb. 15 in Vancouver.
