Duran Duran mark 'Future Past' and 'Anniversary' video with livestream event through Dreamstage

On Oct. 21, Duran Duran held a pre-release livestream event for its new album Future Past, which is in stores now.

Gathered in a Soho, London studio, the band discussed the eye-catching new music video for the track "Anniversary" with BAFTA-winning director Alison Jackson. The clip features dozens of celebrity lookalikes such as Elton John, The Queen of England, Daniel Craig, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Iggy Pop, Cher and a young version of Duran performing the song during a wild party at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, UK.

Then the half-hour "Double Take" documentary by Gerry Fox and Una Burnand about the video's creation debuted. Jackson, who specializes in "cult of celebrity" works, had to corral 150 people into a single day shoot in what would normally take several days. "It was the hardest thing I've ever done," she said.

Veteran music writer Larry Flick interviewed the band about the album, its career and took some pre-submitted questions from fans.

The 90-minute event is still viewable through Sunday via https://dreamstage.live
