Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival '18: Keith David’s ‘Too Marvelous for Words’

Get ready for what is sure to be an "unforgettable" experience when Keith David brings “Too Marvelous for Words: A Tribute to Nat King Cole” to the Redlands Bowl in Southern California.

The veteran actor/singer is a Julliard-trained, New York City native with more than 150 roles to his credit, encompassing film (“Platoon,” “Crash,” “The Thing,” “There’s Something About Mary”), television (OWN series “Greenleaf” with Oprah Winfrey, “Superior Donuts”), stage (“Jelly’s Last Jam”) and voiceover (Emmy-winning “Unforgiveable Blackness,” “Jackie Robinson,” “The War,” “Halo” videogames) work.

The Redlands Bowl show will feature lush arrangements of Cole’s popular songs, placed in the context of history and intertwined with narrated anecdotes about the singer, whose hits from the 1940s-‘60s included “Route 66,” “Unforgettable,” “Ramblin’ Rose,” “Mona Lisa” “When I Fall in Love,” “Looking Back,” among others.
