Foals band news

Foals have announced a North American headline tour. Tickets went on sale today. Surfer Blood and Blondfire will support.

The tour supports Foals' third full-length album, Holy Fire, available now via Warner Bros Records in the US. It was produced by Flood & Alan Moulder (PJ Harvey, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins).

 

Based in Oxford, England, the five-piece band released debut album Antidotes in 2008, followed by 2010's Total Life Forever. Both are certified UK gold.

 

Total Life Forever was nominated for the 2010 Mercury Prize and an Ivor Novello award, and they received five nods at the 2011 NME awards, winning Best Single for "Spanish Sahara."
