Redlands Bowl in Southern California announces its 100th season, including Frankie Avalon, The Spinners, more

Redlands Bowl Performing Arts (RBPA) has unveiled its season schedule for the 100th Season for the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival.

“The long-anticipated grand Centennial Season of the Redlands Bowl is here, and it is time to celebrate. We are humbled to be a part of this moment in the Bowl’s magnificent history. It is hard to put into words the gratitude we have for our founder, Grace Stewart Mullen, and her vision for making world-class performing arts available free of admission charge to all in our region. This beautiful 'Music for All' mission is sustained by the love and generosity of our amazing Bowl family,” says Beverly Noerr, Executive Director, Redlands Bowl Performing Arts.

“What a thrill it is to have arrived at the Bowl’s Centennial Season! We can promise there is something for everyone this year. We’ll celebrate the musical legacy of this incredibly special place that is the Redlands Bowl and anticipate its musical future, continuing to celebrate classical works at their finest,” says RBPA Program Director Valerie Peister.

In addition to its regular season, the RBPA will present a Grand Centennial Celebration to commemorate the Bowl’s historic Centennial. The “festival within a festival” will feature a fun evening of beautiful music at the Bowl created by Worldwide Creative Director for Walt Disney Live Entertainment and University of Redlands alum Marilyn Magness. More details about this event will be revealed in the summer.

The season begins on June 23 with A Broadway Evening with Sierra Boggess conducted by Nolan Livesay. Ms. Boggess is known worldwide for recreating the role of Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera. She also originated the role of Ariel for Disney’s Broadway version of “The Little Mermaid” and is currently starring as Lily Craven in the Los Angeles production of “The Secret Garden.” Opening night will be conducted under the baton of Nolan Livesay.
