Hunter Hayes looks toward the 'Red Sky' in April

Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist and platinum-selling artist Hunter Hayes reveals the track list and cover image of his new album, Red Sky, due April 21.

Hayes released his double singles “Normal” and “Lonely Loves Me” and said, “Valentine's Day (for me) can sometimes create a false sense of loneliness,” said Hayes. “So, I want to release the two most vulnerable songs from ‘Red Sky’ for anyone who may relate to these songs as a reminder 1-you’re not alone 2-it gets better.”

The official music video for “Lonely Loves Me” will be premiered on KTLA 5 Weekend Morning News in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 11 with Hunter live at 10:35 am PT – stream here or on the KTLA news app.

Red Sky also features the previously released singles “Friend,” “Sober,” and “Someone Will.” Hayes collaborated with songwriters Kevin Griffin (Taylor Swift, Train, Better Than Ezra), Dan Book (All Time Low), Rollo (BTS), Alex Delicata (OneRepublic) and Aaron Zuckerman (Alec Benjamin, LANY).

In discussing the album, Hayes said, “So I was constantly between a rock and a hard place of writing too safe of songs and pushing the boundaries. I don’t think I would be making this type of music had I not been holding off on doing so for so long.”
