Young UK alt-pop sensation The Lathums make US tour debut; album out now

The UK’s The Lathums debut album, How Beautiful Life Can Be was released in late 2021 and went #1 on the UK charts. Now the band is making its first trip stateside for a set of tour dates that kick off in March. Tickets are on sale now.

The Lathums closed out 2021 with a sold out tour of the UK that included a stop at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse. The band has shared a clip from that show (which sold out in under an hour) performing the single “Fight On” which was released one year ago.

Comprising Alex Moore (singer/songwriter, guitar), Scott Concepcion (guitar), Johnny Cunliffe (bass), and Ryan Durrans (drums), the group met in the former industrial town of Wigan, on the border of Greater Manchester and formed in 2018.

In 2019, The Charlatans' Tim Burgess offered them a late slot at Kendal Calling festival. A year later the band debuted on Later… With Jools Holland.

Last year the band entered the Parr Street Studios, Liverpool with producers James Skelly of The Coral and Chris Taylor.
