Joey Molland’s Badfinger taps Matthew Sweet, Todd Rundgren, Rick Wakeman, Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, Rick Springfield, others for new collaboration album

Joey Molland’s Badfinger will release
No Matter What – Revisiting The Hits its full-length album of collaborations including Matthew Sweet, Todd Rundgren, Rick Wakeman, Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, Rick Springfield, Sonny Landreth and more on March 26 via Cleopatra Records.

There are new versions of the Paul McCartney-penned “Come And Get It,” the George Harrison-produced “Day After Day” and ballad “Without You.” The latter was originally released by Badfinger in 1970 but became a global hit when Harry Nilsson recorded a version in 1971, and then it returned to the airwaves again in 1994 courtesy of Mariah Carey’s version. Now Rock Hall Of Fame nominee and producer/songwriter/guitarist Todd Rundgren offers his own rendering.

No Matter What – Revisiting The Hits will be available on both digipak CD and in superb-looking tri-color (red, white & blue) vinyl.
