Also the music is f –king great. Prove me wrong.”

About Phantom Planet:

Formed in 1994, the Los Angeles alternative rock quartet — Alex Greenwald [vocals, guitar, keys, songwriting], Sam Farrar [bass], Darren Robinson [lead guitar], and Jeff Conrad [drums] — is best known for the hit “California” (the theme of the TV series The O.C.). Members of the band also spent time away from Phantom Planet, with Farrar becoming a member of Maroon 5, Greenwald was the musical director for Mark Ronson and The Business Intl. and formed the band Phases, Robinson divided his time touring with Miniature Tigers and created Twin Terrors and Conrad (who replaced founding member Jason Schwartzman) became a documentary editor and composer.

The band made their official return in 2019 with Balisong (produced by long-time collaborator, Tony Berg) followed by 2020’s “Time Moves On.”
