The NAMM Show '20 news: Dimebash, Ronnie Montrose Memorial concerts

The NAMM Show returns to the Anaheim Convention Center Jan. 16-19. Events are typically open just to badge holders, but a few are open to the public.

Dimebash happens on Jan. 16 at the Observatory in Santa Ana. General admission tickets are $33 via Ticketmaster, while VIP tickets are $200. The event honors Darrell, the late former member of Pantera, with various musicians performing his songs. Dave Grohl is among those taking part. Find info at dimebagdarrell.com.

The NAMM All-Star Memorial Concert will honor guitarist Ronnie Montrose (who died in 2012) on Jan. 17Hosted by TV and radio personality Eddie Trunk, performers include George Lynch, Brad Gillis, Dave Rude, Jimmy DeGrasso, James Kottak, Phil Demmel, Jimmy Paxson, Matt Starr. There will also be cameo appearances, guest speakers and previously unreleased video clips from Montrose’s career. It takes place at M3 Live Anaheim Event Center, 2232 S.
