Out now: James Bay's 'Electric Light'

James Bay's second album, Electric Light [Republic Records] is available today.

Upon going live at midnight last night, the album entered at #1 on the iTunes Alternative Chart, #3 on the iTunes Album Chart, debuted #1 on the UK iTunes Album Chart and hit Top 10 on the iTunes Album Chart in 40+ countries.

Bay appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week performing “Pink Lemonade” and “Us.” Watch “Pink Lemonade” Here and “Us” Here. Next up, he plays the outdoor stage at Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! May 21 on ABC before heading to NBC’s The Voice for their season finale on May 22.

The Rolling Stones tapped Bay to open their stadium show on June 19 at London’s Twickenham Stadium. He will also on blues legend Buddy Guy’s upcoming album The Blues Is Alive And Well on the new song “Blue No More.” Others featured on the album include Jeff Beck, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger.

Touring for his sold out Electric Light tour commences May 27. See dates below.

Composed in East London’s Baltic Studios, Bay co-wrote and co-produced Electric Light with longtime friend and collaborator Jon Green and brought onboard Paul Epworth [Adele, Florence and The Machine] to add final production.
