Saint Motel ready to head back on the road

Saint Motel will embark on the Late Night with Saint Motel fall North American headlining tour. The trek kicks off in San Francisco on Oct. 27 and continues through November (see attached itinerary).

Known for their inventive live shows, the band will be revealing special concepts planned, and Gibbz will open as direct support, along with host Johnny Pemberton. For information on tickets, tour updates, and more, please visit www.saintmotel.com.

The tour supports the band’s current album saintmotelevision, whose audio version was released late last year. The album is highlighted by the hit single “Move” which went to #1 on Sirius/XM’s Alt Nation, Top 20 at Alternative, and Top 5 at Triple A. The follow-up single “Destroyer” is at Alternative radio now. Watch the recently released video for “Destroyer” HERE.

Always on the cutting edge, Saint Motel has created “virtualizers” - interactive and immersive companion videos that combine 360 animation and Virtual Reality technology - for each song on saintmotelevision, thus completing the first-ever Virtual Reality album according to Billboard Magazine. The final 10-track collection launched as an interactive mobile app for iPhone and Android with exclusive content, and also lives on YouTube as a playlist.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles indie pop quartet's single “My Type” has officially been certified gold by the RIAA for sales equivalents exceeding 500,000. The title track of their 2014 My Type EP was a Top 10 Alternative radio and Top 5 Triple A hit in the US, garnering nearly 80 million streams on Spotify. The “My Type” companion video – directed by Saint Motel frontman A/J Jackson – is approaching almost 20 million views at the band’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/saintmotelvideo.

Saint Motel is: A/J Jackson (vocals), Aaron Sharp (guitar), Dak Lerdamornpong (bass), and Greg Erwin (drums).
