Camille Bloom adds U.S. dates

A performance by Seattle based folk/rock artist Camille Bloom was one of the highlights of NAMM for me - especially the title track of her latest EP. My OC Register coverage can be found elsewhere on this blog. Read on for more info...

This past January, Bloom was selected to be on two showcases for the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products industry, NAMM, one of which was for Gibson Guitars.

Her current EP is Big Dreams. In addition to numerous US dates, she completed her 7th annual and successful European tour this past spring. In between touring and writing, Bloom teaches privately, directs a nonprofit Rock and Roll Camp in the summers and works with at-risk youth around the country at schools and youth centers exposing them to the healing qualities of music.

Before the full-time pursuit of her own big musical dream, Bloom was a high school English teacher which readied her for working with kids. Bloom has placed on the European FAR (Free Form American Roots) Charts with Bob Dylan, Iron & Wine, and Brandi Carlile and her songs have been added to over 240 radio stations.
