More live dates, book readings from Ben Watt

Following the success of his acclaimed new solo album Hendra, Ben Watt has announced more North American dates this July.

These come in addition to the previously scheduled performances and readings in New York and Los Angeles this June.

Watt will play solo on guitar and electric piano, accompanied by Bernard Butler (formerly of Suede). The audience can expect new songs and vintage gems from the two indie legends.

After 20 years as co-songwriter, occasional singer and primary instrumentalist in Everything But The Girl, and 10 as an international DJ and label owner with Buzzin’ Fly, Ben Watt returned to his singer-songwriter folk-rock roots in April this year with Hendra, his first since North Marine Drive 31 years ago.

On June 10 at PowerHouse Arena in Brooklyn and June 14 at Book Soup in Los Angeles, Ben Watt will participate in an audience Q&A and read from his much-anticipated second book Romany and Tom. The publication date is June 10.
