Franz Ferdinand recently announced the release of their new album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action (Domino) on Aug. 27. Following some performances in California in April, the Scottish four-piece will be returning to the U.S. this fall for multiple live dates throughout the country.

Tickets go on sale in most markets on Friday. Fans who purchase tickets for any of the North American headlining shows will receive a digital copy of the album on release day.

The band has also released a new behind the scenes video titled “A Weekend In Glasgow” featuring footage of the band in-studio recording the album track “Bullet”, as well as rehearsals, and clips from an intimate show at Mono, a café / record shop at the center of Glasgow’s music scene.

This album is the first from the Glasgow band since 2009’s Tonight.
