Stereophonics head to America

It's been quite awhile since we've seen these Welshmen here. I'm looking forward to the new album.

Stereophonics' new studio release Graffiti on the Train will come out in  America on Aug. 20 via their own Stylus Records.

Released earlier this year in the U.K., it entered the charts at number 3, has remained in the Top 20 there ever since and quickly went gold.

Written by lead vocalist and guitarist Kelly Jones and produced by Jones and Jim Lowe, Graffiti on the Train loosely tells the story of two friends who flee the country after a tragic accident.

Jones was at the helm of all the videos from this album, which he has both written and directed - including the first U.S. single, "Indian Summer." Upon release in the U.K., "Summer" marked the band's 26th Top 40 hit on the U.K. charts.
