New Soundgarden U.S. tour dates

Tickets go on-sale Nov. 16 for Soundgarden's 2013 North American tour - the first to showcase new album, King Animal, which came out Tuesday via Loma Vista/Republic Records. 

 

Soundgarden also released a music video for first single “Been Away Too Long” and announced a commemorative poster art design contest for the tour, asking fans to use the album title as the theme to create a ferocious and primal design that embodies the untamed disposition of a "King Animal."

The deadline for submission is December 21. 

Since reuniting in 2010, the band (Chris Cornell, Matt Cameron, Kim Thayil and Ben Shepherd) released the platinum-certified retrospective Telephantasm, the Live on I-5 concert album and penned “Live to Rise,” for the feature film The Avengers (No.1 on Modern and Active Rock radio).
