It's been Ringo Starr's mantra ever since he played drums for The Beatles. The phrase often figures into Starr's lyrics somewhere and shows up again in "Anthem," the opening track on 17th studio album, Ringo 2012 (Hip-O/Ume).

The whimsical collection features new versions of his own compositions ("Wings," "Step Lightly"), covers (Buddy Holly/Norman Perry's "Think It Over" - first heard on '11 Holly tribute album Listen to Me; a rave up take on Lonnie Donegan's traditional skiffle tune "Rock Island Line"), the reggae-fied "Wings" and violin-enhanced reminiscence about younger years, "In Liverpool."
On Saturday, Starr and the latest incarnation of his All-Starr Band - Steve Lukather (Toto), Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey), Page, Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera (Billy Joel) and Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth) return to the Greek Theatre in L.A. Starr released a live album recorded at the renowned venue in 2008.
Fans can expect to hear such classics as "It Don't Come Easy," "Photograph," "With a Little Help from My Friends,"
"Yellow Submarine," a couple from Ringo 2012, not to mention All Starr Band member's individual hits like "Rosanna," "Broken Wings," "Hello It's Me" and "Black Magic Woman."
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $40-$100 and available through Ticketmaster.
