Live from the Artists Den: New Season announced

The fourth season of innovative U.S. music series Live from the Artists Den will premiere nationwide on PBS TV stations starting Feb. 3 (check local listings). The Emmy-nominated show connects music fans with a icons and emerging stars performing in unique and historic venues.

Scheduled for the new season are: Adele, The Fray, Death Cab for Cutie, Kid Rock, Iron and Wine, and Amos Lee with special guest Calexico. Viewers can preview clips from the Adele episode on Hulu and Hulu Plus.

"There's something for every music fan in our new season," says Artists Den Creator and Executive Producer Mark Lieberman. "We kick off with a rare, intimate look at Adele, the biggest star in music this year, and finish with Iron and Wine reimagined as an 11 piece band in a historic Atlanta theatre. Generous invitations from such remarkable locations as Graceland, the Brooklyn Museum, and more helped inspire our best season yet."

Adele said "nothing in life moves me as much as being on stage does" at her Artists Den taping at Santa Monica Bay's Woman's Club. "I love the closeness of playing in small rooms, and this room was lovely and simple, just beautiful." Live from the Artists Den is filmed in high-definition.

Beginning Feb. 3 - Adele at the Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club in California.
