Jake Bugg news

It’s been 10 years since Jake Bugg released his self-titled debut album. Released on October 15, 2012, the collection went #1 on the U.K. Album Chart and sold over a million copies, with both a BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nomination.

Jake will mark the 10th Anniversary with special deluxe editions of the album on 2LP black vinyl, Limited Edition 2LP, Gold Vinyl and a 3CD - out October 14. Pre-order HERE.

‘I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since album one,” Jake said of the anniversary. “Time has flown so fast so it’s been a real pleasure to go through the old unreleased tracks, videos and photographs and put this box set together. I love the end result and I hope you will too.”

The set comes fully remastered at Abbey Road Studios with a second LP of two rare and fourteen previously unreleased tracks from Jake’s early recording sessions from his personal archive.

The CD edition will feature the remastered album, sixteen unreleased bonus tracks including a Rick Rubin version of “Broken,” and the full performance of his concert at the Royal Albert Hall from 2014, being made available physically and digitally for the first time. All formats will feature sleeve notes from Dean Jackson (BBC Radio Nottingham), who discovered Jake, and unseen images from Jake’s photoshoot with Kevin Westenberg.

One of those previously unreleased tracks comes in the shape of “It’s True” - a raw, emotional slice of acoustic, bass and drums. Listen here.

Last year, Jake released his latest album, the acclaimed Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, and saw the unveiling of a documentary on Brazilian footballing legend ‘Ronaldinho,’ which saw Jake write and perform the score.

The Smithereens to release 'The Lost Album' next month

This is exciting news!

In the fall of 1993, while they were in between contracts with Capitol and RCA, The Smithereens ventured into Crystal Sound Studios NYC to write and record a new album for their own label.

The result of those marathon recording sessions is this release, unheard by the outside world until now and appropriately titled The Lost Album. The Smithereens’ music has resonated with fans worldwide over the course of 17 albums and 2500+ live shows.

Founded in New Jersey in 1980, The Smithereens - Jim Babjak (guitar), Dennis Diken (drums) and Mike Mesaros (bass) - grew up together in Carteret, NJ, while the late Pat DiNizio (lead vocals), hailed from Scotch Plains.

As The Smithereens’ fame escalated, they were in heavy rotation on MTV and appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien, and Saturday Night Live. They’ve since performed on stages coast to coast from the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to the Meadowlands Arena in NJ to Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, and internationally from Europe to Australia. Tour mates have included Tom Petty, Squeeze, The Pretenders, Lou Reed, and Ramones, among others.

In a statement, bassist Mike Mesaros said:

"The Lost Album has previously existed only as a sentimental “scrapbook” for Dennis, Pat, Jim and me. Mine was tucked away in a dusty shoebox with other cassettes—forsaken raw nuggets of outtakes, demos, rough mixes and silly chatter. Now, the inevitable turning of the clock and the tragic demise of friend and brother Pat has buffed and polished this collection of songs into emotional gold. The Lost Album remains only 80 percent finished and rough mixed. The feeling and style, however, are all there, outweighing any overdub or mix considerations. It is something new, yet vintage, emerging from its warm analog tomb into a cold digital world.

And so The Lost Album lives. Listen and float with us in between labels purgatory. Pat D. Is in fine fettle and we are young, together and tight. Cigarette smoke fills the studio like a mainline from the NJ Turnpike. It’s good and loud. Even playbacks. Beer is swilled and laughs are had with Den’s impersonations ruling the roost. It’s our traditional and comfortable atmosphere for makin’ us a record.

‘Round midnight, we exit Crystal Sound Studio A and jaywalk over to Studio B — O’Flynn’s Saloon. In due time a cab is hailed and we head downtown to our village incubator, Kenny’s Castaways. We affectionately reckon with our uncle and mentor, Pat Kenny and invite the beloved man to a session. (He came). We’re jazzed about this project because, for the first time, we are producing ourselves and mum’s the word to the outside world. Somehow, it evokes the early days when we were our own best kept secret and a fan club of 4.

The next day our singer is AWOL. After Kenny’s we had followed the clarion call to Freddy’s, an extinct Little Italy speakeasy (Bud in cans or Smirnoff shots) run by our pal Sal where Pat was the jukebox Sinatra. By day it was a paper/tobacco stand/ soda fountain. Sal’s mama always had a big pot of sauce gurgling awaiting her cloud-like meatballs. The aroma permeated lower Manhattan to 6th Avenue.

As we three Carteret hangovers await the Scotch Plains boy’s arrival we are soothed by our ace engineer, pocket psychologist, and studio owner Larry Buxbaum. He supports us and believes in our project like an older brother with a bemused grin. Love and miss you Larry. Thanks.

The Lost Album showcases some of DiNizio and Babjak’s best writing and never better group empathy and collaboration. At this point we were really listening to each other and this was key in our individual styles meshing so well. A real band. We could be mean, sweet, joyful, or brooding. As need be. We still were in our prime — young, battle-scarred vets who were fluent in the lingua franca of rock ‘n roll but still not far removed from Jimmy’s garage and Pat’s basement (we still aren’t)"

Billy Idol has a new EP on the way

Billy Id
ol is back with The Cage EP which is set for release on September 23 via Dark Horse Records. The new music follows the release of Idol’s 2021 The Roadside EP, which included the Top 15 hit “Bitter Taste.”

On The Roadside EP, Idol is joined by new project by his longtime collaborator, co-writer and guitarist Steve Stevens. Lead single “Cage” has an accompanying Steven Sebring-directed video (Patti Smith, Jack White). Listen to/share the song HERE and watch/share the video HERE.

“Coming out of the lockdown era, people had a lot of energy stored up,” recalls co-producer Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, BØRNS) who also co-wrote three of the album’s tracks with Idol, Stevens and Joe Janiak (Ellie Goulding, Adam Lambert). “That was the inspiration for ‘Cage.’ Getting out there and doing the things we’ve been missing. And that includes not being afraid to do a raucous punk rock song like ‘Cage.’ And we didn’t worry about whether it fit in anywhere because it just sounds so Billy.”

There will be a forthcoming Jonas Akerlund-directed (Paul McCartney, Madonna) documentary about his life; further details to come soon as the film is currently in the final stages of production.

“The last EP, we were kind of warming up to this,” says Idol. “This EP is a lot more coming at you. Loads more guitar. And that’s a lot of fun. We were pretty fired up by the fact that we hadn’t played for a couple of years, and suddenly we were bursting on stage, and it kind of woke us up to what the next EP could be: That it could be a little more strum und drang, a little more coming at you, a little more rock’n’roll, a little more f*ck you! Well, a tiny bit of f*ck you, anyhow. The bottom line is we had a lot of fun doing it.”

Recorded at Studio America and MDDN Studios in Los Angeles, the 4-track EP includes production contributions from English, Zakk Cervini (Blink 182, Machine Gun Kelly) and Butch Walker (Green Day, Weezer).

In support of the forthcoming release, Idol is planning a run of 2022 worldwide tour dates. See below for the full schedule.

The Cage EP is Idol’s second release on the relaunched Dark Horse Records, a label initially created in 1974 by George Harrison and now led by Dhani Harrison and David Zonshine. Other Dark Horse artists include George Harrison himself, Joe Strummer and Ravi Shankar.

Sammy Hagar news

Sammy Hagar has announced the release of his second studio album with The Circle. Titled “Crazy Times,” it saw Hagar, longtime bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson traveling to Nashville to record the album with producer Dave Cobb at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A.

Due out Sept. 30 via UMe on CD as well as digitally, with the vinyl following on Oct. 28, the band has released the title track on digital and streaming platforms. The CD and vinyl configurations, including a translucent red color vinyl exclusive, are available for pre-order HERE. The album’s first single, “Crazy Times,” and music video directed by Travis Detweiler – is below and HERE.

Today the band debuted the video for “Pump it Up.” Watch it HERE. The cover of Elvis Costello and the Attractions’ 1978 classic
was recorded live during a warm-up session, and on the encouragement of Cobb, who also plays rhythm guitar on the track, it made the album. “Pump it Up” is available now on all digital and streaming platforms.

Sammy shared about making the album, “Working with Dave Cobb for the first time was enlightening. We went into the studio to record in the fall of 2021, when the world was starting to come out of the pandemic bubble we’d all been living in. The lyrics for ‘Crazy Times’ just came from that new freedom we were feeling, the freedom felt unbelievable, but a little uncertain, too. We had to ask ourselves ‘what are we doing here and what do we want?’”

“Going back in the studio, creating and being with the music is just what felt natural. And it was just so different from any record I've ever made. There was joy in the hard work, catharsis and the comradery we’d craved. It was like those two years of not being able to do very much fell away and we really all came together and let it out in the music and lyrics. We were able to express what we all felt.”

“Crazy Times,” the band’s sophomore album, is a follow-up to their debut “Space Between,” a multi-category #1 Billboard charting album. The new album will include 10 songs, nine of which Hagar wrote or co-wrote, along with a notable cover, “Pump It Up,” a 1978 song by Elvis Costello and the Attractions. The song “Crazy Times” was written by the band along with Dave Cobb and recorded live.

Sammy explains, “Before I stepped into the studio with Dave, he’d told me he wanted the best of my career on this record, and he wasn't going to let me get out of that studio until I gave it to him. So, I said, ‘If you expect that from me, at my age, as many records as I've made, you're going to have to push me,’ and he said no problem. Obviously, I dug down and just tried to write good strong songs, great lyrics, great melodies and not worry so much about the arrangements because he had that covered. And he pushed and squeezed every one of us. We went in the studio with seven songs and came out with 10. We ended up cowriting three songs with Dave Cobb and the band—including the new track, Crazy Times.”

Following the current tour wrapping on Oct. 1 in Sacramento, California, Hagar will celebrate his 75th birthday at his annual week of Birthday Bash concerts at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Visit RedRocker.com for ticket information.

Concert review: Culture Club, Berlin in Costa Mesa, Calif.

CONCERT REVIEW

Culture Club, Berlin

Pacific Amphitheatre, Costa Mesa, Calif.

Aug. 18, 2022

Next: Culture Club, 8 p.m. Saturday, The Show at Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Berlin at Freestyle Festival, noon Saturday, Bridges Memorial Park, Long Beach, Calif.

Listening to Boy George’s witty between-song banter is among the best parts of a Culture Club concert. During a thoroughly enjoyable 80-minute, 13-song set in Costa Mesa, the British singer opined about his musical influences, astrological signs, life lessons, love songs, the recent Elton John/Dua Lipa collaboration and more.

The London pop band initially formed in 1981 and was part of the second British invasion that took America by storm in the early Eighties alongside Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and many others. Over the course of five years, Culture Club amassed nine top 20 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100. The quartet – still featuring original members Roy Hay and Mikey Craig alongside George O’Dowd – have broken up and reformed sporadically since then; most recently in 2014. The studio album “Life,” their first since ’99, emerged in 2018.

This Pacific Amphitheatre concert took place 37 years to the day that Culture Club last performed on the same stage (with this writer in attendance). Several fans in the O.C. audience sported variations on young George’s signature hat and dreadlocks look.

Following a montage of past video clips and imagery, the group emerged clapping and opened with the joyous positivity of new song “The Next Thing Will Be Amazing.” The nine-piece backing band’s power was instantly felt during a strong 1-2 punch: first, “It’s a Miracle,” which was heighted by a jaunty sax solo and the fun “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya,” given a mini salsa break.

Hay moved from electric guitar to white grand piano for the sleek “Move Away,” where George’s soulful delivery was bolstered by the four backup vocalists. George’s solo U.K. reggae hit cover of Bread’s “Everything I Own,” complete with dub interlude, was a highlight. Bassist Craig was smiling ear to ear.

A completely revamped “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?” had a surprisingly airy vibe that recalled 10cc (think: “I’m Not in Love”). George started it a capella before being joined by piano, acoustic guitar, lush backing vocals and a sax solo.

“I love this country. You’ve always been there for us,” said George, in introducing another new track, the tribal rhythm-driven “Planetary Karma.” The evening’s major high point came amid a medley containing “Church of the Poisoned Mind” and Wham!’s “I’m Your Man.” The sax player adeptly subbed for Judd Lander’s wicked harmonica work on the recorded version.

Later, “Time (Clock of the Heart)” traded luxuriousness for a more disco-fied arrangement. The same held true for an even more danceable “Miss Me Blind.” Everyone in the crowd was out of their seats. Come encore time, Culture Club performed a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil” (George said, “I always said when I grew up that I wanted to be Mick Jagger – in my own way”) that worked fairly well.  The band closed with its best-known hit “Karma Chameleon.” Pure fun, all around.

Berlin opened the Pac Amp concert with a solid 40-minute set. Kicking things off with “Masquerade,” singer Terri Nunn was often an exuberant presence. The band - a mainstay on KROQ/106.7 FM during the new wave era - got its start in Orange County in the late ‘70s, where classic Berlin period keyboardist/guitarist David Diamond hails from. Both said this gig felt like a homecoming.

“No More Words,” with Nunn’s fierce delivery, prompted a roar of approval from the crowd. She was equally riveting on “The Metro” as swirling synth sounds dominated. The title track off 2013’s “Animal” had a more intense, industrial-tinged undertow as Nunn dramatically gestured and showed her camaraderie with the other musicians.

Before paying tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John, Nunn admitted to not being a big fan of the Aussie artist until she released “Magic” in 1980, “Then, I suddenly got it. Olivia, thank you for gracing us with your love and talent for 73 years.” She and guitarist Carlton Bost sat on stools and did a mesmerizing acoustic guitar cover of the track.

The success of “Top Gun: Maverick” has prompted renewed interest in the 1986 film. Its successful soundtrack contained “Take My Breath Away,” Berlin’s No. 1 single written by Giorgio Moroder. In Costa Mesa, Nunn ventured out into the crowd to sing it with emotional depth. The group concluded the set with “Sex (I’m a),” Nunn’s sensual duet with bassist and band founder John Crawford. The latter added a wail worthy of a hard rock front man at the end.

Too Much Joy back with a new album

Too Much Joy have released “Mercy Mild” the first official single from their forthcoming album All These F***ing Feelings, due October 21 via Propeller Sound Recordings. The new album follows the New York alt-rock band’s 2021 reunion album Mistakes Were Made.

On the album, the “What Pr***s We Were” and “Our History in Hugs” were commissioned by fans crowd-funding the album, to honor a friend or loved one. Singer Tim Quirk drew the lyrics from their responses to a questionnaire. Of “What Pr***s We Were,” Quirk says. “Those were just a few of the words he used to describe how he and the buddy he wanted to commemorate used to spend their nights driving New England highways aimlessly. That sounded like the title to a song Too Much Joy would write, as well as an apt description of my feelings whenever I'm reminiscing about our past.”

Too Much Joy are Jay Blumenfeld (guitar/vocals), Tim Quirk (vocals), Sandy Smallens (bass/vocals), Tommy Vinton (drums), William Wittman (guitar/bass/vocals).

Live dates:

10/27 - Jammin Java - Washington DC

Elvis Presley news: 'Elvis on Tour' box set arrives in December

RCA/Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, will release the Elvis On Tour box set, a newly-compiled 50th anniversary celebration of Presley's monumental 1972 concert trek (premiering unreleased live and studio material), on Friday, December 2.

Fans can get their first taste of Elvis On Tour when the previously unreleased "Burning Love (Rehearsal 2)," recorded live at RCA Recording Studios in Hollywood in March 1972, becomes available on all DSPs today. Listen HERE

The Elvis On Tour Box Set may be pre-ordered HERE

A seven-disc set, with the audio selections available in digital and physical configurations, the Elvis On Tour box set includes six audio discs (premiering previously unreleased Elvis concert performances and studio rehearsals) and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Blu-ray edition of the MGM Film, "Elvis On Tour," winner of Best Documentary Film at the 30th Golden Globes Awards in 1973 and the last feature film starring Elvis Presley to be released during the artist's lifetime.

RCA/Legacy's Elvis On Tour box set is produced by Ernst Mikael Jørgensen and mixed by Grammy Award®-winning Memphis-based producer Matt Ross-Spang. The original recordings were made by Felton Jarvis and Al Pachucki.

Disc 1 was recorded live on April 9, 1972, at Hampton Roads Coliseum, Hampton, Virginia, and contains all previously unreleased material.

Disc 2 was recorded live on April 10, 1972, at Richmond Coliseum, Richmond, Virginia, and contains all previously unreleased material.

Disc 3 was recorded live on April 14, 1972, at Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, North Carolina, and contains all previously unreleased material.

Disc 4 was recorded live on April 18, 1972, at Convention Center Arena, San Antonio, Texas, and includes previously released material (from 2003's Elvis: Close-Up box set), remixed for this release.

Disc 5 features the tour rehearsals, recorded live at RCA Recording Studios in Hollywood, California, on March 30 and 31, 1972. The disc is comprised primarily of previously unreleased tracks in addition to performances previously available on the official Elvis Presley collector's releases Elvis On Tour - The Rehearsals (Follow That Dream CD 2004) and 6363 Sunset Boulevard (Follow That Dream CD 2001) as well as The Great Performances (RCA 1990).

Disc 6 completes Elvis' rehearsals with his band at RCA Recordings Studios with performances recorded March 31, 1972. The disc includes previously unreleased takes on Kris Kristofferson's "For The Good Times" as well as performances previously available only on 6363 Sunset Boulevard, Elvis On Tour - The Rehearsals and Amazing Grace (RCA 2CD 1994).

Presley’s national tour played to sold-out secondary markets across the country in 1972. Award-winning filmmakers Pierre Adidge and Robert Abel (Mad Dogs & Englishmen) went on the road with Elvis Presley and his band with all-access passes, cameras and crew to chronicle the King of Rock & Roll in MGM’s Elvis On Tour documentary film.

Both documentary and concert film, Elvis On Tour features montage sequences supervised by Martin Scorsese. The film was released on November 1, 1972.

The Elvis On Tour box set includes behind-the-scenes liner notes by Jerry Schilling, a longtime personal friend and member of Elvis' inner circle.

The set also features an essay by rock historian/musician Warren Zanes, founding member of The Del Fuegos and Professor at New York University.

A portrait of the artist in 1972, the Elvis On Tour box set arrives in the wake of the release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ epic big-screen drama, ELVIS, from filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, starring Austin Butler in the title role and Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' longtime manager and technical advisor.

Little Big Town news

With their 10th studio album Mr. Sun just over a month away, ACM, CMA and GRAMMY-winning band Little Big Town debuts the brand new song “Better Love” – available everywhere now. The track’s release coincides with the launch of the digital pre-order for Mr Sun. The band also revealed the lyric video for “Better Love” – watch here.

LBT’s Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook wrote the track alongside Tofer Brown and Audra Mae. “The attitude of this song is mischievous and lands squarely in Karen's wheelhouse. It's fun to sing, too," Westbrook notes.

Fans will get another sneak peek of the new album from Little Big Town on the new series “CMT Summer Camp” with the premiere episode airing now on CMT. The one-hour special includes performances of new music – including “Better Love” – and some of LBT’s greatest hits.

Mr. Sun is set for release on Sept. 16. To celebrate the album’s release, the band will perform on the 2022 Citi Concert Series on TODAY that morning from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Previously released tracks from Mr. Sun include “Rich Man,” “All Summer,” and lead single “Hell Yeah”, which has amassed more than 30 million global streams since its release.

Physical pre-orders of Mr. Sun are also available, including two hand-signed options from the band – a limited edition, web-store edition tangerine vinyl that includes an 11x11” art card, and a CD that includes a 4x4” art card – in addition to a baby blue vinyl edition of the record. A sky blue vinyl of Mr. Sun will be available exclusively through Barnes & Noble.

The genesis of Mr. Sun was unlike any of their previous albums. Due to the pandemic, the band found themselves off the road and apart for the first time ever throughout their 20-year journey.

“Mr. Sun is intentionally an emotional record that holds hands well with our last album Nightfall,” LBT’s Karen Fairchild shares. “Mr. Sun is focused on better days ahead, the value of friendships and family; it touches on heartbreak and letting go, but it’s full of sunshine and joy.”

This fall, Little Big Town will join Wynonna Judd on select dates of The Judds: The Final Tour.

St. Lucia explores a musical 'Utopia' in October

Led by husband-and-wife duo South Africa-born, Jean-Philip Grobler and Germany-born Patti Beranek, synth-pop band St. Lucia, arrives with their new single “Hey Now.” The track is accompanied by a visualizer shot in various locations throughout NYC. The band’s fourth studio album, Utopia, will be released on Oct. 7 via Nettwerk.

St. Lucia has partnered with Nifty Gateway and established Nifty artist, Tormius, to create four NFTs tied to songs from the Utopia album. The first drop is slated for August 16 with the group’s previous single, “Touch,” and “Hey Now” NFTs available for purchase.
“Phew, what a journey ‘Hey Now’ has been on,” says Jean-Philip Grobler. “To me, it is the emotional core of this whole new era of St. Lucia. It’s the song I always play first when I sit down at a piano now. I’m so thankful that these magical chords came to mind one night in the early stages of the pandemic: it feels like somebody patting you on the back or giving you a hug to tell you everything will be ok.”
WATCH + SHARE “HEY NOW” https://youtu.be/uLAM5kpxNsI
On the “Hey Now” visualizer, director Nicole Lipp shares this: “Running around Jean’s old stomping grounds with a Rhodes and a Hi8 camcorder was so much fun. I loved hearing Jean’s stories and memories from all the places we trekked through. ‘Hey Now’ is a really personal and emotional song so it felt right to create a simple, organic, personal visual with to go with it!”
In July, St. Lucia had shared their lead single “Touch” off their forthcoming Utopia. The track was complemented with a music video directed by Nicole Lipp and featuring LGBTQ+ dancer/actor Liv Mai along with Canyon Carballosa, an inspiring advocate for both the LGBTQ+ and autistic communities.
On the group’s forthcoming alnbum, Jean-Philip says, “We at St. Lucia HQ are beyond excited (giddy, in fact) to reveal the next stage of our new musical era: ‘Utopia,’ the full album. Yes, yes, it’s true that we have been stringing you along a little bit, but in our opinion there’s nothing wrong with a little tease, and it might in fact lead to a more satisfying conclusion. ‘Utopia I’ makes up the first half on the album, like a side A, and our upcoming new release, ‘Utopia II,’ makes up the second half of the album, like a side B (remember from the heady days of vinyl?). The journey continues our search for the meaning of ‘Utopia’ through all the joy, sadness, and irony of our modern existence. Is ‘Utopia’ in the extremes, or is it in the tug-of-war between the extremes? Join us over the next few months for more clarity.”
St. Lucia will embark on a six-week tour starting in October, which will mark their first full headline run in four years. The Dutch musician and YouTube star, Blanks, and synth-rocker Caroline Kingsbury, will support on select dates. See below for the full set of dates. The Black Angels finally back with 'Wilderness of Mirrors' next month

Austin psych-rock band The Black Angels' next album Wilderness of Mirrors is scheduled for Sept. 16 through
Partisan Records. About "Without a Trace," the band says, "We have always said that if you can rob a bank to our music then we are in the right ballpark. And while we don't condone robbing a bank - the idea alone creates an anticipatable, adrenaline inducing soundtrack for your mind." The new song follows lead single/video “El Jardín,'' which features Austin Amelio from The Walking Dead and stars his son Lev, and “Firefly”, a ‘60s French pop homage which features Thievery Corporation’s LouLou Ghelichkani. Listen / Share: “Without A Trace

It has been five years since fans have been treated to an album from the band: Alex Maas (vocalist/bassist), Christian Bland (guitarist), Stephanie Bailey (drummer), Jake Garcia (guitarist), Ramiro Verdooren (multi-instrumentalist). They co-produced with Brett Orrison and engineer John Agnello.

Since forming in 2004 in Austin, TX, the Black Angels remain masterfully true to psych-rock forebears such as Syd Barrett, Roky Erickson, Arthur Lee and the members of the Velvet Underground, all of whom are namechecked on “The River.” The band's Levitation Festival, a place for the genre’s past, present and future -- celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. The band will tour North America starting on August 20.
